Sinopsis:
A historical drama about a small boy, who decides to dedicate his life for fighting for goodness.Young Valo and his father are sentenced to internal exile in Finland after being caught in an anti-Czarist demonstration. Although the boy works as a chimney sweep, he is lucky enough to be able to attend the local school. Czarist authorities soon brand the school as subversive and shut it down. Valo is outraged, and decides to set up his own school for all the children of the village. Further repression follows. Based on a true story.
